Experienced holistic equine physiotherapy
I was born into a family of race horse trainers and from a very young age I have watched many people treat horses over the years. As well as treating horses I am an experienced show jumper and regularly participate in racing, cross country dressage and show hunting. As a child I did pony club, showing, hunting, pony club games, vaulting, cross country, dressage, ride as a lady, amateur on the flat and point to pointing
I draw on a range of qualifications and techniques to provide tailored programmes, including clinical reflexology, clinical aromatherapy, sports injury. I feel strongly about working with a range of professions and therefore often combine my services with veterinarians and other consultants.
Qualifications & Membership
Extensive speciality training and initial qualification in Geneva – 2008
Qualification as a human advanced NST practitioner – 2006
HND in advanced therapies and management – Bradford
Cert Ed in Education – Huddersfield
Supplementary clinical reflexologist, clinical aromatherapy, sports injury therapy qualifications
Member of The Guild and Federation of Holistic Therapies (FHT)
Overall I treat the whole horse and get to the root of any issues rather than just treating the symptoms. This may be working to aid a faster recovery or repair after and during a competition, injury in family pets (in a family environment), preventative care in hunting horses or developing programmes to support the transition between disciplines.
